| “Chateau are very fair people to deal with. They come from a place of fairness. What they say is exactly what they do and what they charge for, they give,” were comments from one of the owners of this recent knockdown rebuild in Bondi. “They know the cost of every item of the home, and there are no surprises,” she continued. This is the second home this couple, with a family, have asked Chateau to build for them. Ten years ago they built the home (shown below) in East Lindfield. Three years ago it was a family decision to move from the leafy North Shore to be close to a beach. They found the little cottage (shown below left) with a view to knocking it down and rebuilding. It was a 330sq metre block with a nine metre frontage and just a short walk to Bondi Beach. In conjunction with Chateau they built a lovely two storey modern home with an open plan ideal for a lifestyle centred on their proximity to the beach.
