The clients purchased this a lovely Berry property with a tired old project home built in the late 1970’s and after much research they decided that it was a far more attractive proposition to knockdown and rebuild rather than renovate or extend the old home.
The new home is a modified version of one of Fairlight Developments most popular designs. It shows Fairlight’s expertise in designing homes with a Country Victorian flavour, which is well suited to the Australian rural landscape. “Unlike a suburban environment, a home on acreage must be designed with a view to producing the very best from every elevation. You cannot afford to compromise on the appearance because unlike a suburban home, all of the elevations are seen,” said Fairlight’s lead designer.
The end result is a masterpiece of design and is well suited to its surroundings.
