| The original home on this site was an old unsympathetically renovated period terrace. The clients initially preferred that the terrace be saved and restored however dilapidation report was commissioned by Fairlight Developments, which revealed major problems with the structure. The design brief was then changed as a result and knockdown rebuild became the only option. A period terrace in keeping with the original but having a modern floor plan able to meet their current needs was now the priority. After some meetings with our design team, concepts were drawn to their exact requirements and once approved construction commenced. “The results have exceeded our expectations and the modern floor plan with natural light washing into the home was totally achieved,” said the client. “Thank you to Fairlight Developments for exceeding our expectations”.
