The Horizon by Jandson Homes is one of their most popular designs for knockdown and rebuild projects.
This innovative design allows the upper floor plan to be rotated, to take advantage of prevailing views or pleasant aspects surrounding the home. The design of the Horizon also gives increased flexibility in the building process, as it is easily adapted to the varying conditions of building blocks, a design particularly suited to KDR as the Cole family can attest.
Michael, Jane and daughter, Emily, recently moved into their newly completed home, the Horizon, in the Sydney suburb of Baulkham Hills after demolishing the existing home.
“We love the Horizon, it had the layout we wanted with minimal changes. In fact, the changes were one of the variations offered.
“We look out over a playing field and have a lovely canopy of trees at the back fence which is home to many bats, possums and a host of birdlife,” explained Jane. As a result, the main bedroom was moved to the back of the house to take advantage of the views. They also added a three-metre verandah to the back of the home and incorporated a balcony above.
