The owner of the North Ryde house (bottom left), a single lady, bought the run down cottage with a view to renovating. As the renovation costs continued to escalate her family convinced her to consider instead a knockdown and rebuild.
After a trip to HomeWorld, as well as inspecting many other display homes, she settled on the floor plan layout of Rosewood Homes’ popular Kingston design.
“As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the right one for me. It perfectly suited my ideas of providing effective living and entertaining areas”, she said. “I particularly liked the way the living areas were all placed down one side of the home and all the bedrooms down the other.”
“Because I was doing it all on my own, I really appreciated the wonderful support from the people at Rosewood. John Fluke and owner Nick Kraj were always available to answer my questions and help me with the many decisions I had to make while the home was being built. It made it a very relaxing and enjoyable time.”
